Lacazette to leave Arsenal when contract expires
Alexandre Lacazette will leave Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of June, the north London club have confirmed.

The 31-year-old joined the Gunners from Lyon in the summer of 2017 and went on to score 71 goals in 206 games in north London.

However, the goals dried up a little for Lacazette this season – he scored six in 36 games – and he and Arsenal have now decided to go their separate ways.

Nketiah staying at Arsenal & finalising new deal
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is now set to stay at the club, with one source telling Sky Sports News he is finalising details on a new contract.

Nketiah’s current deal is up in the summer and it looked increasingly likely he would leave – with Crystal Palace and Borussia Monchengladbach both interested in signing him on a free transfer.

Gabriel Jesus – Arsenal are ready to offer Jesus nearly £200,000-a-week to try and tempt him to join from Manchester City (The Sun on Sunday, June 5); Arsenal are stepping up negotiations over a deal to sign Jesus from Manchester City, but Mikel Arteta has scaled back his initial plan to bring in seven new first-teamers this summer (The Sun, June 4); Jesus’ agent, Marcelo Pettinati, has claimed talks will progress over the Manchester City forward’s future after the international break in June amid rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal (Daily Mirror, May 27).

Raheem Sterling – Sterling is considering allowing his contract to run down and leave Manchester City on a free transfer next summer rather than join Tottenham or Arsenal for a fee (Sunday Mirror, June 5; Arsenal are ready to explore a move for Sterling should he become available this summer when his Manchester City contract enters its final year (Daily Telegraph, May 10).

Clement Lenglet – Arsenal and Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona defender Lenglet on loan (Sunday Times, June 5).

Victor Osimhen – Newcastle are ready to make a “monster offer” to Napoli striker Osimhen this summer with Arsenal conceding his £85m asking price is too much for them to consider (Sunday Express, June 5).

Gianluca Scamacca – Arsenal have seen an opening offer worth in the region of £34m rejected by Sassuolo for Scamacca, the 6ft 4in striker who scored 16 goals in 38 games this season (Daily Express, June 4).

Arthur Melo – Juventus are reportedly preparing to offer Arsenal a swap deal that would see long-term target Arthur come to London in exchange for Gabriel Martinelli (Daily Express, June 3).

Corentin Tolisso – Arsenal and Manchester United could be among the sides readying an offer for midfielder Corentin Tolisso, who will be leaving Bayern Munich on a free transfer this summer (The Sun, June 1).
